# Method:
01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - Arrange the halved hot dog buns cut-side up in the baking dish, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with garlic powder.
03 - Scatter the sliced hot dogs evenly over the prepared buns.
04 - Sprinkle the finely chopped yellow onion over the hot dogs.
05 - Pour the prepared chili evenly over the hot dog and onion mixture.
06 - Top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese.
