Butter Board Dessert Version (Printable)

# What you'll need:

01 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
02 - 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
03 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
04 - Zest of 1 small lemon (optional)

05 - 1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped toasted pistachios or almonds
07 - 1 tablespoon dried edible rose petals (optional)
08 - 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips or chocolate shavings
09 - 2 tablespoons granola (optional)
10 - 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, torn

→ To Serve

11 - 1 French baguette or brioche loaf, sliced and lightly toasted
12 - Extra honey or maple syrup, for drizzling

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lemon zest (if using) with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth and fluffy.
02 - With a spatula, evenly spread the flavoured cream cheese onto a large serving board or platter, swirling for decorative texture.
03 - Distribute the mixed berries generously and attractively over the cream cheese layer.
04 - Scatter chopped toasted nuts, chocolate chips, granola, and dried rose petals over the berries.
05 - Lightly drizzle extra honey or maple syrup over the assembled board.
06 - Garnish with torn fresh mint leaves for color and fragrance.
07 - Present immediately with toasted bread slices or brioche for dipping and spreading.
